As a professional photographer, it is extremely important that the colors you see on your monitor daily stay as true to reality as possible. Because all monitors experience changes in brightness, contrast and color over time, frequent monitor calibration becomes a vital exercise. The best and most precise way to calibrate your monitor is with the use of a colorimeter device. We have provided a list of recommended devices below for your convenience.
Additionally, we recommend you request our reference image and submit test prints. We will print 2 5×7′s of your images as uploaded (Pro Prints) and once again with color correction (Perfect Prints). Once received, you’ll use your prints and the reference image to confirm your calibration with a colorimeter.
Don’t want to worry about calibrating your monitor? That’s totally fine. We recommend you stick with Perfect Prints and our Premium Proof products. We will color correct and inspect every image before and after printing to guarantee quality and consistency.
