Workshops

On Wednesday, November 9th we’ll be featuring some additional shooting workshops along with small group workshops that you can take advantage of.

You must be registered for PartnerCon to attend these sessions, so hurry up and reserve your spot!

SCROLL DOWN TO SIGN UP FOR WORKSHOPS!
(Pay close attention to these instructions. We want to make sure you have the best workshop experience, so we take this stuff very seriously.)

Here’s what you need to know about Shooting Workshops:

  • Workshops are limited to 15 people. If you don’t get into the Shooting Workshop you want, add your name to the waiting list (at the bottom of this page) and sign up for your next choice. We’ll manage the waiting list all the way up to when the workshop starts!
  • Each person must have their own ticket for a workshop. You cannot sign up once for multiple people. All workshops are at the same time. If you sign up for more than one with the same name, we’ll assume the second one was a mistake.
  • Shooting Workshops are not about building a portfolio. Each instructor will focus on giving you the tools to create great portfolio images with your real clients. They’re limited to 15 photographers so that the instructor has enough room to teach, and to keep you out of a mob of paparazzi!

  • If you have any questions, post them on the comments section of this page! We’ll make sure to answer your questions as soon as possible.

    Thank you!

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: ShootQ, Nimbus and Jared Platt’s Lightroom Intensives are all free to all PartnerCon attendees. No need to sign up for these!

What happened to Jared platt’s workshop?

Good question! Jared Platt’s Lightroom Workshop doesn’t have size restrictions so all are welcome, no sign ups necessary!

I’m confused a bit, the email I received said the workshops are free (minus the two 4-hour) but I ended up having the pay $25. Thoughts? Thanks ;)

Hi Kent, Sorry to confuse you with our verbiage when we were trying to explain that the only 4-hour workshops that we charge for are Liana Lehman-Hall and Jared Bauman’s. The shooting workshops are all $25. Hope that helps explain!

So… all the shooting workshops are two hour?

    elizabeth October 11, 2011 at 6:38 pm

Yep! All shooting workshops are two hours from 9-11 AM on Wednesday November 9th.

Hey Elizabeth, no worries thanks for the response. So in the email it states, “If you’d like to attend Jared Bauman’s or Liana Lehman Hall’s “Four Hour Workshop,” you must sign up to reserve your seat. All other “Four Hour workshops” are free and don’t require you to sign up.”

What are the other four hour workshops and when are they held? They are different than the two-hour workshops that are $25? Thanks again for the help, I’m looking forward to it!

Hi Kent, Check out the rest of the “4 Hour Workshops” here: http://partnercon2011.sched.org/overview/type/4+hour+workshop

Shooting workshops are all 2 hours long and are classified as “Shooting Workshops.”

    Hope that helps!

I just registered and received my confirmation email but I’m not sure how to schedule the classes I want to attend…?

    elizabeth October 24, 2011 at 8:38 am

Hi Vicki, You can schedule classes here: http://partnercon2011.sched.org/

Please note though, that this schedule is only for your benefit. You don’t have to sign up for any classes besides the ones listed on this page (workshops with limited space). The rest you can show up to on site as you wish!

    Hope that helps!
