Current Positions

Responsibilities:

• Play a leading role in the design, architecture, implementation, maintenance, and testing of new and existing software products and services.
  
• Participate in discussions about features, usability, architecture, and production deployment. Must work great with a team and be confortable going on solo missions without much oversight.
  
• Work with the operations team to design effective and optimized deployment architecture/infrastructure.
  
• In the event of issues in production system, assist in the identification and resolution of defects.
  
• Participate in the planning and execution of product releases.
  
• Play an active role in the Pictage community by consulting with user groups and community forums about features, usability, and future products.
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development
  
• College degree in Computer Science related discipline
  
• Proficiency with UNIX-like operating systems
  
• 4+ years of experience with the Python programming language.
  
• Experience with Java also a plus.
  
• A solid understanding and experience with at least one open source RDBMS, Postgres & MySQL.
  
• Experience with NGinx, SupervisorD, and Python package management beneficial
  
• Work experience within the photographer industry beneficial
  
• Candidates must have eligibility to work immediately in the U.S.
