  Daniel J. Watkins
Biography:

Daniel J. Watkins has been a professional event photographer for nearly 20 years – he worked for a number of studios before he started his own photography / digital imaging business in 2001 – Daniel J. Watkins Photography. 

He earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing / Advertising from Missouri State University and his MBA with emphasis in E-Commerce / Entrepreneurship from Saint Louis University.  He

regularly mentors entrepreneurship students at Saint Louis University and is past-president of the St. Louis Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, an international professional business fraternity.  During his term the St. Louis Alumni Chapter won the National Most Outstanding Alumni Chapter Award beating out over 60 other chapters. 

Dan recently contributed a segment on business planning for a new collegiate text book, Entrepreneurial Small Business (authored by Jerome A. Katz, published by McGraw-Hill, ISBN # 0072967986).  He is a regular contributor to David Jay’s Open Source Photo forum and receives frequent praise for his timely business advice.  He has been a Pictage partner since July of 2005. 

Dan and his wife Maria live in St. Louis, Missouri with their three children.
